What does the intermediate level sewing class cover?
Intermediate sewing classes are quite personalised, teaching new skills or enhancing the current skills of those who may already know how to sew.
Beginners who move onto this class will consolidate and build on the skills already learnt and learn new ones by choosing their own project and sewing it under my supervision.
You must have sewing knowledge to join this level. The skills required are knowledge of darts, gathering, zippers, and a basic understanding of how to read a pattern. But don’t worry if your skills in these areas are not perfect; that’s what I’m here for.
My goal is to expand your knowledge of reading patterns, doing fittings, sewing sleeves, lining garments, sewing terminology, and much, much more. Together we will get you to a point where you can design your own patterns.
If you are unsure as to whether you are up to this level or not, call me or send me an email to check.
